There are so many products in the Epicure catalog. Probably one of my biggest challenges at a cooking class is being able to answer each person’s specific questions to the detail they deserve. It’s even harder when it’s a catalog party and I can’t give the detailed answer someone may need.

This why I love the Epicure podcast: Flavour is my Favourite F Word. Available where you like to stream, new episodes release each Monday.

It’s a simple format: 10 minutes or so giving the details about a product. You’ll learn about the ingredients and why they were chosen over something else. But my favorite part is when they share the unique uses for the product. I say product because it’s not always a food product featured.

Recently, the Epic Box included a sachet of Cincinnati Chili as the exclusive product. The podcast gave the history of Cincinnati Chili and a variety of ways to serve it, including how it’s traditionally served.

One of my favorite episodes was about the Round Steamer. I was about 6 minutes in and realized she was dropping golden gems. I rewound and took notes! No joke. I have almost 2 pages on uses for the round steamer that I didn’t even know were possible.
