The 4 Pillars of Health
What are the 4 Pillars of wellness? Survive, be nice, don’t yell, and try to get some sleep. Seriously, there are days like that, right? For real, though…there may be other pillars somewhere else, but what has worked for me are these pillars as they were taught to me:
Water
Sleep
Nutrition
Movement
Pretty easy, right? Right, till little things like work, schedule, children, laundry, school, phones, traffic, illness, and the like rear their inevitable life-living heads!
My company closed recently, quite abruptly, but I really liked their approach to the balance. The recipe guide held not just recipes, but suggestions for portions and exercise, and all the rest. I’m going to do a deep dive into each of these pillars and my rabbit trail on the journey with each of them. But for now, I’d love to share the guide with you.
